Rick Mace Pottery

First taught in 1967 by Michael Gordon at Menlo-Atherton High School in California, Rick made pottery from 1967 -1972, and again from 1993-1998.

There is certainly no limit to what one can experiment with. It's that experimentation that I find to be the most fun. Recently, I Raku fired a piece, hated it, covered it with a cone 10 white clay slip, dried it, covered it with another Raku glaze, fired it, hated it, sand blasted it .... and loved it (shown here).
